Shade’ Yvonne Jones
Shade’ is an entrepreneur who founded businesses in construction, real estate, and community engagement.
Her current business is Green Is Lyf Inc. With a Public Service background spanning over twenty years, Shade’ has developed a strong understanding and ability to interpret and implement collaborations between political processes and community relations. Shade’ served as NPU-L Chair for 4 years as a liaison between the English Avenue and Vine City neighborhoods and the City of Atlanta.
As a community leader and advocate, Shade’ has cultivated relationships with community stakeholders, community leaders and elected officials. She is committed to the dissemination of relevant information to the public and encourage their participation in planning processes. Shade’ served as the Vice Chair for the Westside Community Benefits Committee. Also, she serves on the advisory committee on the Neighborhood Westside Tax Allocation District (Westside TAD), Westside Growers and she is an adviser for the HBCU Green Fund in Atlanta.
